About Me

Michael began his career as a financial advisor in 1989 and joined Stifel in 2009. He takes a long-term approach to investing by being selective and not rushing the market. Michael believes that if you stay the course, we are able to control what we can control and mitigate investment-related taxes, including maximizing contributions to tax-advantaged accounts, when appropriate, and investing tax-efficiently. By navigating and adapting to market conditions, he can match allocations to clients’ needs, enabling more effective diversification.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts in Food Systems Economics and Management from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. He holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. Michael earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc., which identifies those individuals who have met the experience requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework, and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination.

Active in the community, Michael has been a member of the City of Ormond Beach's Pension Advisory Board since 2010. He is also a member of the investment committee for the TOP Jewish Foundation, overseeing the policies related to management of the corporation. TOP provides philanthropic services to donors and community organizations.

Michael has been married to his wife, Suzanne, since 1982. They moved from Michigan to Ormond Beach, Florida, in 1983 where they raised their three children. Together, they enjoy walking their dog, Arby, volunteering, hiking, and traveling to visit with their children.
